My first real picture taking experience was when travelling in Peru and Bolivia in Christmas 2000… I had an APS camera which gave fantastic panoramic views, of which weren’t evident until I got the film developed. On my last big trip I had the digital, a Pentax Optio S4i, which is great for editing while you go but I don’t get the same thrill as getting a film developed and finding what picture treasures I have (or not in some cases).
